Esteem South Academy Goes Yellow for YoungMinds 💛
On Friday 10th October, Esteem South Academy proudly took part in #HelloYellow Day 2025, joining thousands of schools across the UK in support of YoungMinds, the charity dedicated to children and young people’s mental health.
Staff and pupils came dressed in bright yellow clothing and accessories, to show that mental health matters and that no one should ever feel alone.
The day was filled with positive energy, thoughtful conversations, and activities focused on wellbeing, kindness, and connection. From classroom discussions to creative projects, everyone played a part in raising awareness and spreading hope.
Head of School Sally Petcher shared:
“#HelloYellow is a powerful reminder that small acts of solidarity can make a big difference. At Esteem South Academy, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where every young person feels heard, valued, and empowered.”
